Goodbye, kids' coding website, hello, birthplace of Friday Night Funkin', Henry Stickmin, and countless YouTube indie animation series.

It's been a wild ride. I sure didn't expect to end up on Newgrounds of all places, but here I am, I guess.

It's a total change of scenery compared to the likes of Scratch and Pixilart. On one hand, I'm relieved. Although it's fun to code animations and make games on Scratch, the place is really not built for anyone looking to start a long-lasting career (unless you're pre-destined to be the next Griffpatch, of course). During my time there, it's mostly been the same, repetitive platformer games hitting the charts due to most of the user base being bored eight-year-olds who aren't allowed to get Microsoft accounts. On the rare occasion that something is well-made, it just ends up being a big ole lag machine due to all the blocks having to be rendered.

All in all, I'm pretty excited to start creating stuff on Newgrounds. Here's to hoping I don't become the next Puppychan...
